Don Aceto Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Don Aceto (California, 20/21st century) Don Aceto was raised in Boston. He enlisted in the Navy and saw action during the Korean War. After the war, he returned to Boston and studied at M.I.T.and the Art Institute. During the Space Program era he was recruited to be part of the Saturn Missile Project creating some of the realistic renderings of space flight and moon landings. His work earned him a commendation from President Lyndon Johnson. He later became an animator at Walt Disney Studios, and currently lives in Cathedral City, California. His highly colorful paintings are whimsical, nostalgic, and border on folk art in style. His works are held at the Museum of Miami and have hung in the Smithsonian Institute.
