      Ntina Anastasiadou (Greek, born 1956), Erotic, 2006, edition of 3, bronze, 64 x 41 x 21 cm. Exhibitions: Retrospective exhibition of EETE members (2009) in Technopolis, Athens. Ntina Anastasiadou C.V. 1980-1986 She studied sculpture, art history and copper casting at the School of Fine Arts, University of Athens. She graduated with honors (10/10). In 1986 chosen by the board of the Professors of the School of Fine Arts she was sent to Japan and participated in the International Art Festival Ushimado Okayama 1986, on the occasion of the twinning of Mytilene with Ushimado in Okayama, Japan. During 1986-1992 she stayed in Kyoto and attended Japanese language, calligraphy and ink-wash painting (sumi-e - suibokuga) alongside historian and calligrapher Mitsuo Takaoki and Nihonga (traditional Japanese painting) under Miki Takaoki. Her relationship with the Takaoki family - which began in 1980 and continues up to now - was particularly decisive for her career as an artist. 1989 – 1991 She granted a scholarship by the Government of Japan (Monbusho). Under Professor Zenzo Shimizu she attended Japanese art history at Kyoto University, Department of Philosophy. 2012 - 2014 She granted a scholarship by the Government of India (ICCR) and earned a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Calcutta (Rabindra Bharati University). She was awarded by the University with Certificate of merit for her drawing capacity. She teaches sumi-e painting techniques at the Children’s Art Museum in Athens. Every year, under the auspices the Embassy of Japan in Greece, she delivers lectures on the Arts and Culture of Japan.
