Pierre Anstis (British, b.1979) St Sebastian, 2008 Oil on board with 23.5 half carat gold leaf Signed on reverse 75cm x 53cm Provenance: Submitted directly for sale by the artist St Sebastian Having worked at various other clubs in London, Seb Fontaine eventually became a resident DJ at one of the UK's largest club nights at Cream, and also went on to feature at its Ibiza nights. Seb was traditionally painted as St Sebastian by Pierre Anstis for World DJ Day 2002. This is a hand painted reproduction of the original painting executed in 2008 specifically for this sale by the original artist, Pierre Anstis. condition report no visible damage

Here he appears as St Paul; a reflection on the parallels between church and club congregations. Originally commissioned for World DJ Day 2002. Pierre Anstis (British, b.1979) The Gallery Woman, 2008 Oil on board with 23.5 half carat gold leaf Signed in pen lower right Signed on reverse 77 cm x 51.5cm Provenance: Submitted directly for sale by the artist The Gallery Woman was commissioned by Turnmills nightclub to be the front of their renowned Gallery Night. A statue was made of the same woman so that a mold could be used to make a version in chocolate. She was then filled with M&Ms and smashed in an advert for Mix Mag. This is a hand painted reproduction of the original painting executed in 2008 specifically for this sale by the original artist, Pierre Anstis. condition report no visible damage
