The First Man on the Moon signed autograph, First American woman in space Sally Ride signed glossy, along with other signed photos from NASA astronauts and navigators. The lifelong autograph collection of Jerry Shoemaker, Dayton. OH (1944-2021). Jerry was well known among friends, family, and coworkers for his extensive autograph collection. Jerry's process was unique -- he composed thousands of letters to dignitaries, presidents, celebrities, actors, and sports stars in the pursuit of autographs and ephemera. Because of the nature of Jerry's process, these autographs are sold "as-is" and do not have COAs to accompany. Many of the autographs include the original letter or are on the stationary of the celebrity and reference the original letter. The letters were all different and often included surveys and questionnaires for the recipient, to further gain knowledge and engage the subject.  In 2001, Jerry was featured on the Dayton, OH news (WATCH here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMmCyRxhm-U), where he displayed his collection highlights and talked about his enthusiasm for collecting.

(Astronaut, 1930-2012). Eigenh. Brief mit Unterschrift. Houston 1969/70. 1 Seite. 4°. An Klemens Keyser, Wolfenbüttel. Er erhielt die vorliegende Antwort: "The corrected version is the proper one, although I agree. It's difficult to understand in the radio transmission." - Mit Briefkopf "National Aeronautics and Space Administration". - ╔Handwritten letter╗ with autograph. Houston 1969/70. 1 page. This letter of the late Neil Armstrong is one of the very few being traded and is an important document of history. The letter had been framed for some time and is therefore a little sunned. - Prov.: Hauswedell und Nolte, Hamburg Auktion 439 Pos. 1054. R
