      PKZ. 1927

      Est: $6,000 - $8,000

Artist: JOHANN ARNHOLD (1891-1955) Size: 35 7/8 x 51 in./91.2 x 129.7 cm Wolfsberg, Zürich PKZ stands for Paul Kehl of Zurich, who in 1881 founded Switzerland's first large scale men's clothing firm. Though this subsequently became Berger-Kehl, PKZ carried over as the trademark of the firm's men's wear and as the name of its stores. To the poster world, those letters stand for a remarkable body of outstanding posters the firm has commissioned in the past eighty years. Here, a perfectly dignified and unflappable silver-haired gentleman shows off the season's latest model of suit and outerwear.
