After becoming a designer for Strobridge Lithograph Company, artist Paul Ashbrook created posters for the Barnum and Bailey Circus.

Ashbrook was an avid traveler, taking many trips to Europe and Mexico. During his travels, his work included oil paintings of Mexican villages and European landscapes. Many Paul Ashbrook portraits for sale feature studies of people he encountered during those travels. Enjoy the simple beauty of intriguing vintage and collectible portrait paintings offered for auction at Invaluable.
