Artist Michael Atkinson, born in 1946, is a master of Western and Southwestern landscapes and oceanscapes. The main subject of Michael Atkinson's paintings features bright colors and detail, and most of his portraits and still life pieces contain a vast amount of white space in an attempt to draw focus to the main image. Michael Atkinson's seascape paintings are predominantly watercolor pieces in an abstract, realist style.
