Dominikus Auliczek d.Ä. 1734 Policka – 1804 Nymphenburg Johann Elias Ridinger 1698 Ulm – 1767 Augsburg Porzellan, glasiert und polychrom staffiert. Unter der flachen, annähernd ovalen Plinthe in Schwarz nummeriert "232" sowie in Blei monogrammiert "KR" (?). Ungemarkt. Vergleiche eine nahezu motividentische Figurengruppe, Nagel Auktionen GmbH, Stuttgart, Auktion 785, 18.03.2020, Los 25. Diese auf der Plinthe mit der gepressten Rautenmarke. Das Pferd wohl aus demselben Model geformt. Einziger Beleg für eine identische Ausführung einer plastischen Gras-Staffage auf der Plinthe. Ein Schwerpunkt des künstlerischen Wirkens Auliczeks lag im Entwerfen mythologischer Figuren, welche u.a. als Gartenskulpturen im Nymphenburger Park aufgestellt und explizit nach Stichvorlagen gefertigt wurden. Vor der Ausführung jener Großplastiken schuf Auliczek in der Porzellanmanufaktur Nymphenburg ungefähr 100 dreidimensionale Figuren und legte dabei einen weiteren Fokus auf Tierdarstellungen, bei denen er sich wohl auf Motivvorlagen Johann Elias Ridingers bezog.

Dominikus Auliczek was a court sculptor of Bohemian origin and appointed inspector of the Nymphenburg manufactory in 1773.
