Aurèle Ricard, known as Aurèle LostDog, born in Paris on 24 October 1963, is a French post-industrial visual artist.

He lives and works between Paris, New York and Shanghai. A self-taught fanatic of Yves Klein's work, in 1985, he developed the chromium yellow n? 2, which he named after the International Klein Blue, the International Aurele Yellow.

The patent for the formula was filed with the INPI four years later, in 1989. In 1986, he met the "Puissances Populaires", street artists Fred Kleinberg and Mano Solo.
