      Margaret Baird, Scottish 1891–1979 Saturday Afternoon, 1967; oil on board, signed and dated lower right 'M. Baird 1967' and signed, titled, dated and inscribed on the reverse, 33 x 43.2 cm (ARR) Note: known for her naïve style of everyday scenes, much like Helen Bradley and Beryl Cook, the artist did not start painting until near the end of her life, having her first exhibition in 1966 aged 75. Her work was exhibited at Crane Kalman Gallery and the Portal Gallery and numerous works are held by the Glasgow Museums Resource Centre. Please refer to department for condition report
