      Giacomo Baragli (1934 - 1989) A modernist bronze plaque or sculpture, the horizontal plaque depicting figures sculpted in high relief , signed and dated 1964 width 64 x height 35, mounted to a plinth base. Notes: Father of the artist Guido, Baragli was born in 1934 in Palermo, where he lived and taught at the Art School.  He completed his studies at the Accademia BB.AA. of Palermo ('55) and was assistant figure and ornate model ('56, '57, '58) at the Liceo Artistico.  He attended Manzù courses at the Sommerakademie fur Bildende Kunst in Salzburg ('55, '56, '58), assistant to Manzù in 1960 and held the sculpture course in 1962.
