Sheila Barbone Art for Sale and Sold Prices

SHEILA BARBONE July 13, 1956-
Raised in the coastal town of Stonington, Connecticut, Barbone developed an interest in art at an early age. At the age of 9, the Stonington Art Gallery exhibited her first painting. She earned her BFA at the Lyme College of Fine Arts.
Her subjects include Boston, New York, and Provincetown cityscapes as well as coastal sailing and beach scenes in a uniquely bold, impressionistic style with heavily layered brushwork. Her work has been widely exhibited at such venues as the Copley Society of Boston, The Cooley Gallery, and the Kolbalt Gallery.
