      ESTERA BARCHAN (Pikelna) Lodz, Poland 1893 - 1990 Paris (Polish / French) Estera Barchan (born Pikielny) lived in Paris before the war. Her husband was Mané-Katz. They didn't have kids, and parted back before the war. Estera's second husband was an art critic named Pawel Barchan. He died in a concentration camp during the war. She survived. Sadly, she lost her sight later. She died in November 1990. She was buried in the cemetery in Levalois near Paris. Bouquet with a Street light oil on canvas signed lower right 92 x73 cm Provenance: The collection of Uri and Rami Nehostan, the Art Museum in Ashdot Yaacov, Israel.
