Digital C-print on Fujifilm Crystal Archive Paper Presumably France, around 2010 Victor Barcy - French architecture photographer Matted and framed Sheet dimensions: 46 x 31 cm Very good condition This image was taken by French photographer Victor Barcy and shows an antique statue of Antinous as Osiris. The young Greeks had a close - presumably sexual - relationship with Emperor Hadrian. When he drowned mysteriously in the Nile, Hadrian mourned so intensely that a religious cult around Antinous was born. The photograph is overall in very good condition with hardly any signs of wear. The frame is also in very good condition. The sheet dimensions are 29.6 x 39.4 cm; the framed piece measures 72 x 87 cm. The three c-prints are in very good condition. They are mounted one below the other to a mat and feature a decorative gold frame. The frame shows only minor signs of use.
