Anna Barlik Art for Sale and Sold Prices

b. 1985 -

According to Anna Barlik, the relationship between man and the reality can be described in three ways: discovering, crossing and creating space. In the first one, she pays particular attention to the interactions between man and the reality in which he lives.

She proves that one entity cannot exist without the other. The reality is a natural environment in which man exists, and this principle works both ways. Crossing the space Barlik understands as a cooperation with already existing reality. As an artist, she is able to influence and change already existing space. Her activities never have destructive character. The third of ways she exchanges – creating a space – is building it from the start.

Barlik creates a reality in her own individual way – it is not dependent on any external factors. The final stage of her activity is photography through which she perpetuates action observed or staged by herself.
