Biography

Dean Rocky Barrick lives north of Seattle, Washington where he is surrounded by wildlife. He creates most of his work in his home studio after extensive field trips where he gathers reference material - photographs, sketches and background material - for his paintings. Barrick's work has appeared in numerous publications including National Wildlife Magazine, and was featured in the Top 100 of the National Park Service's Art for the Parks exhibit.
