Paul Barthel 1862 Zwickau – 1933 Fürth Deutscher Genre- und Landschaftsmaler. Studienbeginn 1877 an der Kunstgewerbeschule in Dresden, Weiterführung des Studiums an der Königlich Preussischen Akademie der Künste zu Berlin bei Julius Ehrentraut und Eugen Bracht. Nach der Ausbildung Rückkehr nach Dresden, Fokussierung auf Aquarellmalerei. 1881–85 Fertigung von Blumenbildern für die Berliner Hagelsberg-Kunstdruckanstalt. 1922 Umzug nach Bamberg, dort als Restaurator tätig.

Barthel’ Dimensions: 100 x 120.5 cm Good condition Condition: The painting is in good condition, consistent with age. The panel measures 100 x 120.5 cm. Paul Barthel (1862-1933) Paul Barthel was born in Zwickau and received his artistic training at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Dresden in 1877/78. He later continued his studies at the ABK Berlin, where he attended the classes of Julius Ehrentraut and Eugen Bracht. Barthel then became temporarily active in Dresden and mainly focused on watercolor painting. From 1881 to 1885 the artist worked as a flower painter for the Kunstdruckanstalt Hagelsberg, Berlin. During this time, Barthel also created landscapes and realized decorations of walls and ceilings. The artist finally moved to Bamberg in 1922, where he was active as a restorer, among other things. In his lifetime, Barthel exhibited his works at numerous exhibitions, including the Glaspalast in Munich and the Große Berliner Kunstausstellung. (cbo) Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
