Christopher Beane is a contemporary American photographer who is best known for his uniquely colorful works that predominately feature flowers, and mixed media objects. His interest in art and photography began at a young age, and his work was greatly influenced by Georgia O’Keeffe and Robert Mapplethorpe. Beane is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and has a background in portrait and figurative photography. In his most recent works, Beane seeks to emphasize color and emotion through a layered digital technique, creating abstract and vibrant works. He has been featured in galleries in both Miami and New York.
