Ant Beetlestone Art for Sale and Sold Prices

b. 1974 -

The work of Ant Beetlestone
The sculptures on this website are the result of 20 years of experimentation, of long hours of study in the life room, the library and the museum. The radical and expressive wood carvings are carved with chainsaw and axe, and are based on maquettes and studies that are inspired by ancient art and contemporary sources.

The work links the fear in early man to that of the modern day apocalypse. The torn and blasted forms are in memory of the entropic cliff we cling to.

The work is divided into 3 series, each with its own theme. New Icons, Boatmen and Land. There are also drawings from each of the series.

All work is for sale, unless marked otherwise.
