          Featured in this lot is this wonderfully crafted lidded bowl from Hopi potter, Nathan Begaye (1958-2010). The bowl shows a two part design of construction where the lid fits perfectly over the bowl. It also shows a fantastic etched design to the side walling of the bowl and on top of the lid of the bowl with bright stains of teal, pink, and purple circular decorations. The condition of this lidded bowl is good, showing no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this bowl are 2 1/2" x 4 3/4" x 4 3/4".

          This Vintage Navajo Hopi Pottery Vase by Nathan Begaye is a unique piece of art, by any standard! Hand built, it features a stylized warrior, who is accented with four arrows and a bow. The hand painted graphics achieve a balance and earthy elegance that is visually pleasing to the eye. The simplicity of the figure is emphasized by the intricate details of the traditional pueblo graphics. A genuine Turquoise stone is set in the middle of a tadpole inside the spout. In good condition with some paint loss, it's 5" wide and about 6-1/2" tall and is signed and dated 5/5/83. This Vintage Navajo Hopi Pottery Vase is one of a kind! Retail price is $2,000.00.
