Artist Thomas Hart Benton was one of the leaders of the American Regionalism art movement. He, Grant Wood, and John Curry changed how people viewed art subjects. Benton attended the Art Institute of Chicago and studied in Paris. Thomas Hart Benton's prints illustrate American life in the West and South. His subjects were often farm workers, factory employees, and home-and-hearth scenes. Many consider him the leader of the American Regionalism Movement.
