              BERLAGE, H.P. (1856-1934). DE NEDERLANDEN VAN 1845. EIGHT PRINTED INSURANCE POLICIES

              (1-2) "Assurantie my tegen brandschade en op het leven De Nederlanden van 1845." Two insurance policies, filed out and dated 1918 and 1919, both w. the same lithogr. ill. and lithogr. borders des. by Berlage. Folded and perforated in blank margins as issued, sm. tears on folds. Berlage can be considered the architect of this insurance company, as he designed seven buildings for it. In 1963, Nationale Nederlanden was formed as the result of a fusion of De Nederlanden van 1845 and the Nationale Levensverzekering-Bank. (3-8) Six smaller insurance policies from the same company, each w. the same design by Berlage at the top, four unused, the other two filled out in pen and dated 1932 and 1942. Nice set of documents hardly ever offered for sale. (total 8)
