He is regarded as the founder of classical archaeology and modern art history. He died in 1768 as the result of an assassination attempt. Keywords: Tomb, funerary monument, archaeology, 19th century, Figurative, Architecture, Italy, Size: 51,0 cm x 34,3 cm, Depiction: 45,0 cm x 30,0 cm Condition: Rather good Condition. The paper is discoloured due to its age. The image makes a good impression. The sheet is foxed and torn along the margins in places, glued on verso; corners creased or torn off, with water stain and creases.

Salvatore" dedicated to Francesco Venier who was the Doge of Venice from 1554 to 1556, engraved by Antonio Bernatti (1792-1873) after Fra Lazzari; another entitled "Facciata delle Procurative Nuove ora Palazzo Regio" depicting the colonnades of the façade of the 16th century merchant's palace, engraved by A. Mezzani after F. Lazzari; and the third, entitled "Prospetto della Loggia appiedi del Campanile di S. Marco rivolta al Palazzo Ducale" presenting an impressive elevation of a façade at the foot of the bell tower of St. Mark's in all its Venetian splendor, engraved by Dolcetti after G. Tosi.
