Graduate of Washington High School and Layton School of Art, Milwaukee,Wisconsin.
During the depression he was employed as an artist on the Index of American Design, traveling throughout the state of Wisconsin collecting artifacts.
Employed later as a commercial artist specializing in design and lettering.
Represented in the permanent collection of the Miller Art Museum, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.
