BIOGRAPHY OF JEREMY BESSET

Born in Cannes in 1984, Jeremy is passionate about drawing and painting since childhood.

At age 11, he began skateboarding, and achieves the following year his 1 graff, he signs "SIMS".
In 2001 he adopted his new blaze of graffiti: ENUR (a choice of combination of letters), and meets Steel Depes, Kelk, and other graffiti artists. The following year, he met Afroman, with whom he participated in various urban festivals in Grasse and Antibes.
In 2003, he produced numerous stores and storefronts bomb, Cannes and its surroundings. In 2004, he tried to paint on canvas.
In 2005-2006, he worked as an artist decorator with Aspéryth association, for which he produced various paintings, such as "30 years of Capitou" in Mandelieu, the facade of a primary school in Grasse, as well as various local hip-hop festivals.
That year, he was selected for an exhibition in Nice. He also met an agent who offers to exhibit in Singapore and Berlin. However, not feeling quite mature artistically, he declined these proposals.

In 2007 he entered a decoration company and discovers that world: lime plaster (stucco, brushed lime), patinas, and the creation of shades from natural pigments and the brushwork. Two years later, he made his first store sign as a painter in words (validated by the buildings of France) in Nice.

In 2011 he founded his own company: "The workshop Jeremy." He produces antique furniture, painted signs by hand, mainly in the town of Mouans-Sartoux and the region. Completely self-taught, he has a harmonious approach letters and colors, combining accuracy with vintage and modern.

The year 2013 marks the return to more personal creations and paintings. He meets Lucas Beaufort, artist with whom he shares his studio, and that will help paint again most artistically and personally.

In 2014, "The workshop Jeremy" won a regional competition in its aesthetics, and is now part of the "30 Wonders of the country of Grasse." The end of this year leads in an artistic turn, he moved his studio and decided to change direction.

Then came 2015 and the beginning of collaboration with several photographers, with the search for a blend of photography and typography. He creates paintings customized for individuals, and several projects for exhibitions and events during the summer.
