(5 1/4 x 2 1/4 in), under glass, light spotting and browning, circa 1919, (2) Provenance: Ernest Brown & Phillips, The Leicester Galleries, London ('Two Children at Play' only with label on reverse); Arthur Shephard Esq., and Mrs Shephard (according to labels on reverse) Exhibited: The Leicester Galleries, Pamela Bianco, June 1919 (labels on reverse) Pamela Bianco was a child prodigy in the 1920s, and the daughter of Margery Williams Bianco (1881-1944), who not only helped to illustrate some of her mother's books but was an accomplished artist in her own right. A retrospective exhibition of her work was held in England & Co., London, in 2004.
