L`Ape Italiana Tav. XXI", inscribed below: "Vincenzo Morani dis. in Caserta Carlo Biondi inc. in Napoli Giulio Sabino Gallo scoperto dai Pretoriani. Quadro - Di Camillo Guerra". Moving scene. In front of two mighty round arches, the artist set up the figures as if on a stage. Led by a tall man, armed men storm towards a man in the foreground - it is the wanted Giulio Sabino Gallo. Carlo Biondi (active in Naples around 1816) was an Italian engraver. The pupil of Antonio Ricciani was awarded an honorary professorship in Naples. Person: Julius Sabinus ( -79 Rom) Was a Roman counter-emperor in Gaul during the reign of Emperor Vespasian in 70.
