Bird, Charleston, South Carolina, split column frame with blocked floral corners, height 65 7/8 in., width 38 in Note: John S. Bird appears in the 1849 Directory for the city of Charleston as a "Military & Fancy Shop" at 225 King Street. Bird was deeded the land on the west side of King Street on September 6th, 1824, by the Sheriff of Charleston. Reference: Acts of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina. 1847.
