In the upper depiction, a so-called Kunstgezeug, a technical device used in underground mining, is shown. A miner operating the machine can be seen. Below is a power machine called a "Göpel", which was used as a conveyor system in mining. Mounted to board (soiled in edges), 1 with photographer's blindstamp below image and 1 with printed text and ornamental frame on mount.Georg Böttger's views of German cities such as Munich, Regensburg and Nuremberg and monuments are among the rare examples of early German documentary photography. – Some slight surface scuff marks, otherwise in very good condition with strong contrasts.

Each with photographer's name, title and number printed below the image on the mount. In original maroon canvas portfolio (a few spots, slight rubbing) with gilt-stamped title. Two with slight foxing spots, a few light surface scuff marks, otherwise most rich dark prints in very good condition. - With: Two duplicate albumen prints from the same album.
