Gleb Sergeevich Bogomolov is a contemporary artist known for his dynamic and thought-provoking sculptures and installations. After studying at the Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry, Bogomolov began to establish himself as an artist. Von fremder Hand deutsch betitelt. - Vereinzelt leicht knickspurig, Kanten teils gering berieben, an den Ecken teils etwas bestoßen.

Mischtechnik (Öl, Collage sowie Metallfarben und -folien) auf Leinwand. 70 x 70 cm. Kyrillisch signiert und datiert sowie verso kyrillisch betitelt, datiert und mit weiteren Werksangaben wie Werknummer versehen. Verso mit kleinem Papierrest. Bogomolov nahm in den 1960er und 1970er Jahren an inoffiziellen Ausstellungen teil und wurde Mitglied der Gesellschaft für experimentelle Ausstellungen. Als Inspirationsquelle dient dem Künstler das russisch-orthodoxe Mittelalter. In seinen Werken ist er jedoch bestrebt verschiedene Epochen miteinander zu vereinen. So ergeben sich im Werk verschiedene Ebenen, die sich in der Diversifikation von Matrialien wie Blattgold oder Collagen als auch von Inhalten, übertragen mittels Abstraktion und Text, artikulieren.
