Oil on cardboard French-speaking region, mid-20th Century Andreas Boné (1921-1995) Signed lower left “Boné” Overall dimensions 30 x 24 cm Very good condition This fine oil painting by the painter Andreas Boné shows a traditionally dressed, elder farmer, who is obviously quite content smoking his pipe. The depiction is very naturalistic and detailed; the lines on the man’s face are rendered very delicately. The oil painting is in very good condition with only minor abrasions at its edges, due to a former framing. It is signed lower left “Boné”. The overall dimensions are 30 x 24 cm. Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance. Holding a burning cigar in his right hand, the man gazes with a crafty facial expression at the spectator. The painting is rendered very naturalistic and detailed, showing even the individual stubbles of the man’s beard. The oil painting is in very good condition, with only minor abrasions due to a former framing. It is signed lower left “Boné”. The overall dimensions are 30 x 24 cm.
