Vintage ferrotyped gelatin silver print. 19 x 19 cm (20,5 x 25,2 cm). Signed by Feininger in ink in right white margin; photographer's stamp and annotated in pencil on the verso. - - Lyonel Feininger painted "Dorf (Yellow Barns)" (Hess 239) in 1924. Mention pour une publication au dos. 19,4 x 24,9 cm. La photographe américaine Thérèse Bonney s'installe à Paris en 1919. Elle devient correspondante du Figaro, collabore à des périodiques américains et français de 1925 à 1931). Elle fonde le premier service de presse illustrée américain en Europe puis devient l'une des premières femmes reporters de guerre.
