Oktober 2014 Chicago), er war ein in Deutschland geborener Produzent, Regisseur, Kameramann, Standfotograf, Maler und Drucker, er studierte an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Berlin, dort besuchte van Bork den Unterricht von Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, einem der vier Gründer der deutschen expressionistischen Künstlergruppe *Die Brücke*, nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg setzte er sein Studium an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig sowie Dresden fort, in dieser Zeit produzierte van Bork die von der Kritik gefeierte Holzschnittserie *Nacht über Deutschland*, eine persönliche Dokumentation der deutschen Nachkriegserfahrung, 1954 wanderte er in die Vereinigten Staaten nach Chicago aus, Quelle Internet, abstrakte Komposition im Hochformat, Druckbett ca. 40 x 53 cm, Blatt ca. 39,5 x 53 cm
