Wilhelm Bormann (German, 1885-1938). An Austrian verdigris patinated bronze statue. An Art Deco animalier work that depicts a Borzoi hound dog, modeled looking behind, over its shoulder. The artist's impressed signature is is stamped to the back over an impressed MADE IN AUSTRIA mark. Presented on an oblong carved green onyx base. Dimensions: 9 X 12 X 6.5 in. Condition: Good overall condition having mild to moderate age related surface wear, patina, and a diagonal crack in the base. Estate fresh to the market.
