The tilted back above two armrests, each carved and inlaid with circular ornaments, the back, seat and arms upholstered in green velvet, the outer sides of the arms and backside of backrest covered with floral green velvet panels, with designer's stamp and manufacturer's plate to the inside of left back leg.

Jac Van Den Bosch was a Dutch Designer of Applied Art. He was a founding member of 't Binnenhuis and most well known for his furniture designs. He also designed carpets which were then produced by Royal Deventer and Kinheim.
