    Featured in this lot is a limited edition, fine pewter sculpture done by sculptor Michael Boyett titled "Sioux War Cry" made in 1980. This sculpture depicts a Native American warrior of the Sioux tribe on horseback, raising his war club in the air while holding his shield in his other hand. The shield is adorned with feathers and he wears a beaded necklace. On the front of the sculpture it features the title of the piece "Sioux War Cry". On the back it is stamped "358/2,500" showing that it is a limited edition piece. The back also features the sculptor's signature and copy right reading "Michael Boyett ©1980". On the bottom it shows the title, the sculptors signature, the copyright date "1980" and the presenter "Chilmark Fine Pewter". Overall this piece is in good condition with no signs of damage. It measures 4 1/2" L x 3 1/2" W x 8" H.

    Featured in this lot we have a beautiful Chilmark fine pewter sculpture, "Eagle Catcher" by artist Michael Boyett. This is a limited-edition sculpture, signed and dated. The sculpture depicts a eagle catcher grabbing the leg of an adult eagle on a stone outcropping. The figures are standing around stones and branches with the base signed. The metal base is signed "Michael Boyett c 1982" with other stamps. The piece is set on a wooden base with the bottom showing a metal medallion reading Eagle Catcher Michael Orlan Boyett 1982 Chilmark Fine Pewter U.S.A.". The piece shows good condition overall with little to no wear. The piece measures 6 1/2" long by 5" wide and 9 1/2" tall with the longest being 9" long. The collective weight of this sculpture is 2lb 10oz.

    This lot includes 8 total pieces. First, there is a pair of bronze bust sculptures signed E Bormel Berlin - one is also marked 1897. They measure from 7 1/2" - 7 3/4" in height. Next, there are two pewter limited edition pieces signed Michael Boyett. The first is titled "Mandan-Buffalo Dancer", 1981, and the other (missing its wood base) is titled "Winter Hunt Delaware", 1982. Also, there is a pewter 10 1/4" high relief plate marked WMF Sinn. Additionally, there is a rectangular copper relief plaque, and a cast bronze oval plaque stamped "Cast by the Metallic Compress Casting Co. Boston Mass.". Finally, there is a bronze and wood cannon sand cast sculpture with a sticker which reads "Made in Holland". This is the longest piece in the lot at 14 1/4" long.     Michael Boyett (American, 1943-2015) an estate lot of five (5) limited edition cold-painted bronze sculptures. These sculptures depict Native American Indians on horseback engaged with wildlife, produced for the Annual Collectors Edition circa 1990s as part of the Legends Series for E.A. Studios (Calgary, Canada). The lot includes the following works: "He Hunts with the Eagle Medicine" (505 of 950); "Receiving the Cougar Spirit" (505 of 950); "Breaking of the War Horse" (505 of 950); "In the Path of the Wolf Spirit" (505 of 950); and "The Buffalo Runner" (505 of 950). Each piece is marked with the artist's impressed signature, title, and edition number, and retains a manufacturer label affixed to the undersides. The sculptures are presented on oblong marble display bases. "He Hunts with the Eagle Medicine" and "Breaking of the War Horse" each come with certificates of authenticity. The largest sculpture measures approximately 10" x 7" x 5". Dimensions: 10 X 7 X 5 in. Condition: Good overall condition having mild age related surface wear.
