    STILL LIFE WITH PEONIES measurements 39 1/2 by 32 in. alternate measurements 100.3 by 81.2 cm. signed Marc Bruyas (lower right) oil on canvas Condition Note: In good condition, a thin web of craquelure, unlined. Two small pigment chips to upper right edge, one to the curtain. Several small chips to floral bouquet and the lower edge. Under UV: a 5 by 3 inch T - shaped area of inpainting to right of curtain. Some strengthening strokes to right hand side, some craquelure, might have been filled in near left center edge. Restorations appear to be of different ages, some original pigment fluoresces.
