Künstlerinfo: eigentlich Margret Joy Flinsch Buba, amerikanische Malerin, Plastikerin, Illustratorin und Kunstpädagogin (1904 Lloyd Harbor/New York bis 1998 Black Mountain/North Carolina), frühe Hinwendung zur Plastik und Bildhauerei, Studium der Bildhauerei in Greenwich Village New York City, studierte ab 1924 an der Akademie München unter anderem bei Angelo Jank, Weiterbildung in Bildhauerei bei Theodor Kärner in München und Louise Schmidt an der Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main, später bei Abastenia St. Leger Eberle in New York, tätig in New York sowie in Como in Italien und Mount Pleasant/South Carolina, ab 1993 in Black Mountain/North Carolina lebend, Quelle: Saur "Bio-Bibliographisches Künstlerlexikon", AKL, Matrikel der Münchner Akademie, "Who is Who in der amerikanischen Kunst" und Internet.
