Date: c. 1840 Description: The artwork presents an expansive landscape view of Harburg, dominated by lush flora, cultural-historical buildings and strolling figures.     Jakob Ludwig Buhl, 1821 Neustadt / Wstr.-1880 Frankfurt, studied at the academy Dusseldorf with Johann Wilhelm Schirmer, active since 1840 in the steel engraving studio of Carl Ludwig Frommel in Karlsruhe, probably since 1843 as an engraver in Munich, there temporarily at Carl Rottmann, since 1846 located in Frankfurt, here: torrent in the mountains, mother with child walking across a bridge, oil / canvas, signed lower right and dated 67, about 92x72cm, frame, this slightly damaged . German Description: Jakob Ludwig Buhl, 1821 Neustadt/Wstr.-1880 Frankfurt, Studium an der Akademie Düsseldorf bei Johann Wilhelm Schirmer, seit 1840 tätig im Stahlstichatelier von Carl Ludwig Frommel in Karlsruhe, wohl seit 1843 als Kupferstecher in München, dort zeitweise bei Carl Rottmann, seit 1846 in Frankfurt ansässig, hier: Wildbach im Gebirge, Mutter mit Kind gehen über eine Brücke zur Bauernkate, Öl/Lwd, rechts unten signiert und datiert 67, ca. 92x72cm, Rahmen, dieser leicht besch.
