Peter Burd Sold at Auction Prices

Peter Burd is a self taught artist, who has always had a love for drawing, he finds working in pencil very natural to him. When he needs to work in color, he uses colored pencils, which he feels is an amazing medium and is often under estimated. He works from life whenever possible, feeling that nothing compares to life drawing. He has produced many highly detailed drawings, with subjects ranging from everyday objects used in his home, to English cottages sometimes spending over 100 hours on a single drawing.
