      Mark Burkett is a painter and printmaker residing in Mooresville, Indiana. He attended Indiana State University, receiving a BFA in fine art printmaking. He usually paints en plein air and uses his oil paintings as source material for his wood block prints. His paintings were included in Painting Indiana II: The Changing Face of Agriculture and Painting Indian III: Heritage of Place, both publications under the sponsorship of Indiana Plein Air Painters. His work is in the collections of Indiana State Museum, Sheldon Swope Art Museum, Cleveland Clinic, and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. His paintings can be seen at Juniper Art Gallery, Spencer, IN. Painting signed, lower left
