Provenance: Collection of Artist Charles Fritchie (b. 1936), New Orleans, LA Note: In 1978, Richard Childers and fellow artist Will Hipps founded the 500 Exposition Gallery in the Deep Ellum area of downtown Dallas. Located in an old tire factory, the gallery provided established and emerging artists a place to exhibit, and today is Dallas' oldest artist run cooperative gallery.
