      Les Pecheries is an original work realized by Maurice Chot-Plassot in the half of the XX Century. Original etching on paper. Hand-signed in pencil on the lower right corner. Titled in pencil on the lower central side. Numbered on the lower left corner. Edition of 80 prints. Very good conditions. Image dimensions: 14.7 x 23.4 cm. Contrasting artwork representing an abstract composition with dark arms and vertical lines going down into a very dark sea. The composition is realized with very dark strokes and there are several focus points.. The work has been realized by the French artist Maurice Chot-Plassot (Neuilly-sur-Seine, 1929 - ?). He studied at the ateliers of Bersier, Cami, Galanis ed Goerg. He obtained, in 1956, the Second Prix of Rome for the engraving. He participated to different group expositions, at the Salon d'Automne and at the Salon des Peintres Graveurs Français and became a member from 1964. He was best known for etchings and xylographs. The light effects, in his work, are realized with a very high contrast between black and white. 27.8 x 38 (foglio), 14,7 x 23,4 (image)
