Pat Christian Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Like many artists, Pat Christian has always loved to draw and paint, and has been creating images on paper as long as she can remember.

After marriage and children, Pat became a stay-at-home mom and during these years her art found expression in other areas while creating a home for her family.

Once her youngest child began college, Pat decided it was time to pursue her love of art and studied under Geri Davis for several years. Other influential teachers include Ralph Taylor, Don Andrews, Tom Lynch, and Charles Reid.

Pat enjoys having someone relate to her paintings because they spark memories important to them. She likes them to see that there is merit in a painting that is not found in a photograph - that it is more than “a record of a thing”; it should elicit from viewers their own feelings and memories.

Favorite subjects for Pat’s paintings include landscapes and architecture - things that capture a sense of place.

Pat is a signature member of the Georgia Watercolor Society and a member of the Columbus Artists’ Guild. Her watercolors have been juried into shows around the southeast United States.
