Ogden, Utah East Buffalo, N.Y. East St. Louis, ILL. Financial Offices, Rookery BLDG., Chicago. The calendar is dated 1925. The condition of this framed calendar is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this framed calendar is 30 1/4" x 11 3/4".

    John Quincy Adams and Henry Clay Scallop Top Ship's Passport Signed.  One partially printed page of vellum, 10.5" x 14.375", Port of New York; June 28, 1828. Mediterranean ship's passport, numbered 113, issued to the " Ship Elisha Denison of New York," captained by F. West, and crewed with seventeen men. It authorized the ship, which had " the burthen of Three hundred fifty nine & 20/95 tons or thereabouts... to pass with her Company, Passengers, Goods, and Merchandize, without any hinderance, seizure of molestation..." Signed by Adams as president, " J. Q. Adams." Countersigned by Secretary of State Henry Clay. With maritime vignettes and a blind-embossed paper seal affixed at the lower-left corner. Docketed on verso. Condition: Docketing panel on verso is lightly soiled. Light wrinkling to surface. HID01801242017

    It is marked on the bottom The Violet (Viola Collegium) Old Eli Family. In the opening it measures 9 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches. The size of the matting is 15 1/8 by 12 1/4 inches. The size of the frame is 16 15/16 by 13 3/4 inches. Very good condition and is protected by glass.
