G/P, Central Park, NYC, Henry Ives Cobb, Jr.

          Est: $400 - $600

This winter scene of Central park uses blues and purples to convey the chill in the air in a way just as successfully as the bare trees and bundled figures. Interesting is the single figure, leaning against the benches beside the path. She is a bright orange in contrast to all other colors around her, drawing the eye directly to her.
