D.S., Henry Cole, one page, folio, Department of Science and Art, Marlborough House, Pall Mall, London, 21st June 1853, to Robert Cole. The partially printed document, completed in manuscript, takes the form of a printed letter regarding the return of some objects included in an exhibition, 'I am directed by the Lords of the Committee of Privy Council for Trade to express to you their best thanks for the instruction and gratification which the articles lent by you have afforded.'
