      Première et Deuxième Suites de Quatre Paysages. Complete set of 8 etchings, circa 1645. Each approximately 110x207 mm; 4 3/8x8 1/8 inches, small to thread margins. The first 4 prints in an undecribed state between the first and second states (of 2), with the artist's initials only not his full name; the second 4 prints in the first state (of 2). One with a powder horn watermark, another with a coat-of-arms watermark. Superb, early impressions. DeVesme 1093-1100.

      Bataille de Rocroy. Four etchings on a pair of joined sheets (4 sheets total), 1643. The larger sheet 645x920 mm; 25 3/8x36 1/4 inches, small margins. Both sheets with the letters IHS and a cross watermark. Both sheets with soft horzontal and vertical folds, the smaller sheet with a strip of pale time stain along one fold. Very good impressions of this extremely scarce print. We have not found another impression at auction in the past 20 years. DeVesme 1110.
