      Paul Conklin, (1929 –2001). Flowers Face Rifles. This is from a Peace March on the Pentagon, October, 1967. Vintage gelatin silver print on double weight paper, 7 x 10 inches. This iconic image was published in TIME. Conklin’s photographs were also published in NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC and elsewhere, as well as in numerous books. He was the first official photographer for the Peace Corps. Original snipe on verso, with Conklin’s PIX.credit stamp and notations. Minor handling mark.

Silver press prints, the images measuring 5 1/2x10 to 9x7 inches and the reverse (14x25.4 to 22.9x17.8 cm.), the sheets slightly larger, with an agency hand stamp and photographer's credit, a caption, and notations, in an unknown hand, on verso. 1965-72 WITH-- Group of 4 images of Mario Savio, the leader of the Free Speech Movement at UC Berkeley by Michael Gregory. Silver prints, the images measuring 9x7 inches (22.9x17.8 cm.), and the reverse, with hand stamps and and notations on verso. 1964
