A good signed 8 x 10 photograph by both Peter Cook and Dudley Moore individually, the image depicting the duo precariously lodged on the branches of a large tree, each wearing a beekeeper's protective hat and veil upon their heads. Signed by each in black inks with their names alone to clear areas of the image. A pencil annotation in the hand of a collector to the verso indicates that the signatures were obtained in person at the premiere of Good Evening at the Plymouth Theatre on Broadway, New York, on 6th November 1973. Signed photographs of this size and quality by the double-act are scarce and desirable. A couple of very light, extremely minor corner creases, otherwise VG

        COOK PETER (1937-1995) & MOORE DUDLEY (1935-2002) English Comedians who together formed a popular television double-act. A printed 8vo programme for a performance by Peter Cook and Dudley Moore in Behind the Fridge at the Cambridge Theatre, London, (February 1973), signed and inscribed by Moore in black ink to the front cover and additionally signed by Cook with his name alone in black ink, both signatures to clear areas alongside their images. Together with a T.L.S., Dudley Moore, one page, 4to, n.p. (London), 2nd March 1973, to Mrs. M. Collinson. Moore thanks her for her letter and encloses two signed photographs, adding 'I am so glad you managed to catch your train home. It was so nice meeting you all.' Also including one of the photographs referred to, a signed and inscribed postcard photograph of Moore in a smiling head and shoulders pose. Signed by the comedian in black ink to the lower white border. Some slight creasing and light overall age wear, about VG, 3
